What is Chris wearing?
What does the man wear in the world of rainwear? What I often hear when I ask acquaintances what kind of rain gear they have is: "None" or "I will go by car if it rains".
But, people are also curious, what is all about 'men' rainwear?
When I look at my own collection. Which is a bit more generous than the average man, then I wear the following:
In the winter months:
In winter I like to wear my Rains Puffer, the Alta Long Puffer Green, a long coat!
Super stylish, wonderfully warm and wind and waterproof. Actually a must have for everyone. I wear this coat all winter long. It's just my winter coat, which is also wind and waterproof. Without noticing that this jacket is a raincoat.
I have often combined this jacket with my AGU rain gloves.
When it rains I take my easy-to-carryAGU GO pants with me and I like to wear the fleece hat from Rains on my head.
This way I am protected against any type of weather, and I just feel nice and warm. This combination also combines great with each other.
When spring comes:
When the weather slowly improves, I wear my bright orange raincoat from Tanta.
If the days are a bit colder, I wear the Innerjacket from Agu underneath. Towards summer I sometimes wear the Innerjacket as a jacket.
During the summer:
Unfortunately, the weather in the Netherlands is not very nice during the construction period. If you don't go on holiday to the sunny south, you might get caught in a heavy shower.
To protect me from a summer rain shower, I have two things:
The Rains Long Jacket Jacket black , a jacket that you can actually wear 10 months a year.
I also have an AGU Go jacket that you can easily roll up and take with you in your backpack.
Speaking of backpack , I also have this one from RAINS. So nice when you're on the road and your things in your bag stay dry.
When autumn comes again:
Then we often have a new collection that I can choose from. Of course I will keep you informed of all new items and I will write a new blog about this.
In any case, I will combine the new raincoat again with all kinds of accessories and of course reflective items when the days get shorter.
You will find all men's jackets under the heading 'raincoats' and then ' men's raincoats ' on the LoveForRain site
Here you will also find all accessories and it might be nice if you also choose something for your wife...

Since we took over LoveForRain, I also have good rain gear!
I have always been fashion conscious, and I also had a rain suit, but a world opened up for me.
I am outside much more often and, for example, no longer find it annoying to walk the dog or work in the vegetable garden when the weather is not so nice!
Here is an overview of what I wear throughout the year:
In the winter months:
My Tanta Aike winter raincoat makes me very happy on the colder days.
Tanta is not yet a very well-known brand in the Netherlands, but it does have very nice jackets.
I absolutely love the color Iceberg Green, a wonderfully fresh shade, also for winter.
I quickly wear the AGU rain gloves, there is nothing more annoying than cold hands. And how nice that they are also waterproof!
I don't easily opt for a shorter model winter coat, but I have to say, I really like it. Now that my jacket is shorter, I always have my rain pants, the AGU Section pants , with me. These rain pants have a long zipper on the side, so I can put them on easily without having to take off my shoes.
Speaking of shoes, when it rains really hard I use the BikeBoots , also because I like to protect my beautiful shoes.
Because I walk outside a lot, this year I also opted for a headband from the Rains brand , a nice headband that stays in place and the fleece is comfortable to wear.
When spring comes:
This coat, the trench coat from AGU, is so cool.
You can actually wear this stylish jacket all year round, because on cold days I often combine it with my Innerjacket so that I stay nice and warm. The advantage of this jacket is that you can tailor it nicely, which makes the jacket look chic and nice on a dress.
During the summer:
I like to wear a Curve Jacket from Rains, which gives a nice silhouette.
Actually I have two, for variety, on my coat rack there is one in the color Haze (I stick to the green :-)) and one in the color black. Because it rains more and more in our country, I am always prepared for a sudden downpour. The great thing about this cute jacket is that you can fold it up small to put in your bag.
When autumn comes again:
When the days get shorter again, my coat gets longer. Last fall I chose the Montreal jacket from HappyRainyDays. Our sales winner!
We have already made a lot of ladies happy with this jacket. A difficult choice, which color do you go for? There are quite a few. I have the Montreal navy/red . Ideal for cycling, but also while walking.
It is also available in the lined, padded Toronto variant.
