Ordinary clothing gets soaked after a short rain shower and feels heavy. Climescape cardigans and sweaters, on the other hand, arecan withstand at least seven hours of continuous rain showers and snow. The Climescape Warnoch family has been developing in the field of water-repellent textiles since 1881 and the family is continuously improving the yarns and fabrics. In 2012, all this led to a well-deserved Innovation Award.

The materials from which the Climescape clothing is made are made with nano-tex aquapel technology. Aquapel stands for water-repellent. The fabric consists of 80% pre-shrunk cotton and 20% polyester fleece. This makes the fabricshrink-free and lightweight(320 grams per m2). By ironing the fabric occasionally, it regains its water-repellent effect, because in this way the nano-tex effect is reactivated.
