A windproof jacket……
The Netherlands has many types of weather, and also a lot of wind.

What are windproof jackets?
Windproof jackets have a coating on the inside of the jacket that ensures that the jacket is windproof. Some of these also have a padded lining so that they are nice and warm during cold days.

Are windproof jackets also waterproof?
There are many jackets that are also waterproof, pay attention to the water column.
The water column of, for example, 4000mm indicates that the jacket has been tested at a water pressure of 4000mm. The higher the water column, the more waterproof the jacket is.
What about perspiration?
Nobody wants to arrive at work or an appointment sweaty after a bike ride.
Therefore, when buying a jacket, check whether it is also vapor permeable.
Many raincoats have all three qualities, which are: waterproof, windproof and vapor permeable.
