The Climescape Warnoch family has been developing in the field of water-repellent textiles since 1881 and the family is continuously improving the yarns and fabrics. In 2012, all this led to a well-deserved Innovation Award.
The materials from which the Climescape clothing is made are made with nano-tex aquapel technology. Aquapel stands for water-repellent. The fabric consists of 80% pre-shrunk cotton and 20% polyester fleece. This makes the fabric shrink-free and lightweight (320 grams per m2). By ironing the fabric occasionally, it regains its water-repellent effect, because in this way the nano-tex effect is reactivated.
